ACEPAR (Aceros del Paraguay S.A.) is Paraguay's only integrated steel producer, operating from Villa Hayes on the banks of the Paraguay River. The company manufactures steel bars, rebar, structural laminates, and steel tubes for the construction and industrial sectors. Founded around 1970 as a state enterprise, ACEPAR was privatized in 1997 and has since served as the cornerstone of Paraguay's domestic steel supply chain.
