About This Brand
Agrosuper S.A. was founded in 1955 by Gonzalo Vial Vial in the O'Higgins region of central Chile. What began as a small poultry operation has grown into one of the largest integrated protein companies in the Southern Hemisphere. The company controls every stage of production: animal genetics, feed mills, breeding farms, growing operations, processing plants, and cold chain distribution. Agrosuper's product portfolio spans chicken, pork, turkey, and Atlantic salmon, marketed under several brands including Super Pollo, Super Cerdo, and La Crianza. The company operates multiple large-scale processing plants in Chile, including one of the largest pork processing facilities in Latin America. Its salmon division manages farms in the fjords of southern Chile, producing fresh and frozen fillets for export markets. The company exports to more than 60 countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Japan, China, South Korea, and Mexico are among its largest export destinations. Agrosuper employs over 20,000 workers and has invested heavily in biosecurity protocols, wastewater treatment, and renewable energy at its facilities. The company is privately held by the Vial family and consistently ranks among Chile's top five companies by revenue.
