Pump is fine, Peru logistics were problematic
The HP200 pump itself meets specifications. However, shipping from Maquinarias Andinas to our Peru operation was a nightmare. Customs paperwork had errors that delayed delivery by 3 weeks. Once we received it, the pump performed as expected.

Third order of HP200 pumps from Maquinarias Andinas. Quality is consistently excellent. They even proactively sent updated compatibility charts for our CAT equipment. The only minor note is pricing is slightly above market average, but the reliability justifies it.
Reliable pump, shipping took longer than expected
The HP200 pump is a workhorse. Build quality is excellent and it has been running without issues on our construction site for 3 months. Shipping was delayed by a week though, which impacted our project timeline.

What does the warranty cover?
Is there a manufacturer warranty on the HP200? How long does it last and what does it cover? Specifically, are wear parts like seals and bearings included?
The HP200 comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty from date of purchase. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. Seals are covered for the first 12 months; bearings for the full 24 months. Normal wear and damage from improper use are excluded. We handle all warranty claims directly.

Our construction equipment uses Parker PVP series hydraulic connections. Will the HP200 pump connect directly or do we need adapters? Also, what hydraulic fluid types are recommended?
The included adapter kit worked for us with Cat and Parker fittings. One tip: use ISO VG 46 in warm climates. We switched from VG 68 and the pump runs noticeably smoother in summer temperatures above 35C.
4 found this helpfulThe HP200 uses SAE O-ring boss (ORB) port connections which are compatible with Parker PVP series via standard SAE adapters. We include an adapter kit with every pump. For hydraulic fluid, we recommend ISO VG 46 or VG 68 mineral-based fluid. Synthetic fluids are also compatible.
