Can this motor be used outdoors?
We need to mount this motor on outdoor equipment exposed to rain and dust. What is the IP protection rating? Will it need an additional enclosure for outdoor installation?
This motor has an IP55 protection rating, meaning it is dust-protected and resistant to water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor installation without an additional enclosure. For extremely harsh environments (coastal, chemical plants), we also offer an IP56 upgraded version. Both use Class F insulation rated for tropical climates.

We are in a region with 220V/60Hz power supply. The listing mentions 380V. Is a 220V version available or can it be configured for dual voltage? We need 3 units for a production line.
I bought 2 of these and reconfigured them from 380V to 220V delta myself. It is straightforward: just move the jumper links in the terminal box per the wiring diagram on the nameplate. Takes about 10 minutes per motor. Make sure to update your overload relay settings for the higher current draw at 220V.
