Good quality, improve packaging for shipping

We bought 10 buckets for our construction site canteens. The dulce de leche quality is good and the price competitive for the 10kg format. The only issue was that two buckets arrived with partially open lids, likely from handling during transport. The product itself was intact but we recommend improving the outer packaging for long-distance shipments.

Perfect consistency for alfajor production

We imported 40 buckets for our alfajor production line in Brazil. The repostero consistency is exactly what we need: thick, doesn't run when filling, and holds shape after assembly. We are looking for dulce de leche with organic or kosher certification for export to the United States. Does Vacalin hold either of these certifications?

Currently Vacalin dulce de leche repostero does not hold organic or kosher certification. It does have gluten-free certification (sin T.A.C.C.) and is suitable for vegetarians. For US export we have the necessary sanitary documentation but not the specific certifications you mention. We can check with other brands in our catalog if you are interested in certified products.

Storage in high temperature zone

Our warehouse in northern Argentina reaches 35 degrees in summer. Does the product deteriorate? Do we need refrigeration?

Vacalin dulce de leche repostero is stored at room temperature, but the manufacturer recommends not exceeding 25 degrees Celsius. At temperatures above 30 degrees it may lose consistency and darken more than normal. For warm areas we recommend storing in a ventilated or air-conditioned space. Refrigeration is not strictly required but if the warehouse consistently exceeds 30 degrees, a climate-controlled section is advisable.

Shelf life once the bucket is opened

Once I open the 10kg bucket, how long does the product last in good condition? In our bakery we use it throughout the week.

Sealed shelf life is 6 months from manufacture date. Once opened, the product stays in good condition for 30 days if kept covered in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. For bakery use we recommend portioning into smaller containers if you won't use it within the week.
