Top quality, the classic choice
We purchased 200 units for our retail locations in Sao Paulo and it was an excellent decision. The yerba arrives well packaged with good expiration dates. The flavor is what everyone knows: intense, long-lasting, with a good balance between leaves and stems. Our Argentine and Brazilian customers ask for it by name. The only minor issue was shipping took 2 extra days beyond the estimate, but the product more than makes up for it. Very good value for medium volumes. We will definitely reorder.

Is Taragüi yerba mate organic? What certifications does it have?
Our customers increasingly ask about organic products and quality certifications. What certifications does this product have?
Taragüi yerba mate in its classic line does not have organic certification. However, it holds the Argentine denomination of origin certification, which guarantees it was produced in recognized yerba-growing regions under specific quality standards. Las Marías also complies with ANMAT (National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology) regulations and controls all production stages from cultivation to sale.
3 found this helpfulHow should yerba mate be stored?
We have a warehouse in a warm and humid area. Are there special storage conditions to prevent deterioration?
Yerba mate should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odors. Ideal temperature between 15-25°C with relative humidity below 70%. Taragüi's original packaging has a good moisture barrier, but in tropical areas we recommend elevated shelving and good ventilation. Avoid contact with the floor and chemical products.
3 found this helpfulIs bulk availability guaranteed? Volume discounts?
We are a grocery chain in Brazil and would need 500+ units monthly. Do you have the capacity to supply that quantity regularly?
Yes, we handle volumes of 500+ units without issue. We maintain permanent stock and have direct agreements with Las Marías that allow us to guarantee continuous supply. For 500 units or more we offer a special price of $2,400/unit (check current rates). Shipments are coordinated from Buenos Aires on a weekly basis to Brazil.
2 found this helpfulDoes it contain gluten or any allergens?
We sell to customers with dietary restrictions. Is the yerba certified gluten free? Is it processed on shared lines with other products?
Taragüi yerba mate is naturally gluten free and vegan. The sole ingredient is yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis), with no additives or artificial ingredients. Las Marías production lines are dedicated exclusively to yerba mate, so there is no risk of cross-contamination with allergens.
4 found this helpfulWhat is the product shelf life?
I need to know how long the yerba lasts from the production date. We buy in bulk and need to plan our stock.
Taragüi yerba mate has a 24-month shelf life from the production date. All our batches ship with at least 18 months remaining. The product undergoes a minimum 6-month aging before packaging, ensuring flavor stability throughout its shelf life.
