Fotmer Life Sciences S.A. is a Uruguayan medical cannabis cultivator and extractor founded in 2016 and headquartered in the Zona Franca of Nueva Helvecia, Colonia. The company operates 18 greenhouses totaling approximately 30000 m2, received one of the most comprehensive cannabis licenses in Latin America from IRCCA covering cultivation, manufacturing and international export, and produced the first commercial cannabis export from Latin America to Australia in September 2019. Fotmer supplies pharmaceutical-grade flower, full-spectrum extracts and active pharmaceutical ingredients to licensed partners in Portugal, Germany, Israel, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States under GACP, Uruguayan-GMP and EU-GMP certified operations.
