Mari Arytza S.R.L. is a small Argentine condiment manufacturer founded in 2014 in Villa Ortúzar, Buenos Aires, by Mariano Carballo and Leonardo Merlo. The company grows its own brown mustard seed under organic certification in the Alto Valle de Río Negro region of Patagonia and produces an artisan line of seven mustard varieties, three mayonnaises, four cold sauces, and a range of spices. All Arytza products are gluten-free, Kosher certified, and made without artificial additives or preservatives. In May 2024 the Mostaza Tipo Dijon won Grand Champion at the World-Wide Mustard Competition held at the National Mustard Museum in Middleton, Wisconsin, beating French house Maille and American Pommery. The portfolio is sold at the factory door in Villa Ortúzar and exported to the United States, Germany, Uruguay, and Paraguay through specialty food importers.
