Avianca is Colombia primary airline and the oldest continuously operating airline in the Americas, founded in 1919 in Barranquilla. Operating a fleet of over 140 aircraft, including Airbus A320 family narrowbodies and Boeing 787 Dreamliner widebodies, the airline connects passengers and cargo across more than 100 destinations in 27 countries. Avianca main hub at Bogota El Dorado International Airport serves as a strategic gateway between North America, Central America, South America, and Europe. As a member of Star Alliance since 2012, the airline offers seamless connectivity to over 1,300 destinations worldwide through partner carriers.
