Cooperativa Agrícola de Colonia Liebig Ltda. is an Argentine farmer cooperative founded in 1926 in Colonia Liebig's, northeast Corrientes, by German, Ukrainian and Polish settlers. With 132 associated producer families, the cooperative grows, harvests, dries and mills approximately 46 million kilograms of yerba mate each year. Its flagship Playadito brand leads the Argentine market and is exported to 29 countries, with Syria, Lebanon, Chile, the United States, Poland and Germany as core destinations for industrial and retail channels.
