About

BGH is an Argentine technology group founded in 1913 by Boris Garfunkel under the original name Boris Garfunkel e Hijos. Over more than a century it evolved from a hardware wholesaler into a diversified manufacturer of air conditioning, home appliances, consumer electronics, LED lighting, and IT services for Latin America. The group operates through four business units: BGH Consumer for home appliances, BGH Eco Smart for climate and building management, BGH Tech Partner for enterprise IT services, and Positivo BGH for electronics and computing. Industrial operations are based in the Rio Grande plant in Tierra del Fuego and the Carlos Spegazzini distribution and manufacturing center in Buenos Aires province, with commercial presence across eight Latin American markets.
