Reliable quality for large-scale projects

We have used over 200 tonnes of CEMEX Tolteca CPC 30R for infrastructure projects. The compressive strength results consistently exceed the 30 MPa specification at 28 days, typically reaching 34 to 36 MPa. Batch-to-batch consistency is excellent. CEMEX test certificates are provided promptly. One shipment had minor bag damage during loading, but CEMEX replaced the affected bags without dispute. Shipping from Veracruz port to our project sites takes about 3 weeks.

Good product, pricing competitive with alternatives

Ordered 500 bags for a warehouse construction project. Cement quality meets CPC 30R specs. The bags are well-sealed and survived ocean transit without moisture damage. Compared to Brazilian cement, the Tolteca CPC 30R performs similarly to CP II-F-32 grade. Response time to technical inquiries averaged four business days which is acceptable but not fast. Price is competitive when factoring in the freight advantage from Mexican ports.

Quality is fine but logistics were problematic

Purchased 200 bags for a client project. The cement quality itself is standard CPC 30R, no complaints there. Two issues: first, the delivery was delayed by 10 days beyond the quoted lead time due to a customs documentation error on CEMEX side (wrong HS code on the commercial invoice). Second, 8 bags arrived with torn outer paper layers exposing the inner layer. The cement was still usable but not suitable for our client who needed intact packaging for retail display. Communication during the resolution process was slow.
