About
Cementos Artigas is the oldest cement producer in Uruguay, founded in 1919 and operating clinker production at the Minas plant in Lavalleja and milling, bagging and dispatch from the Sayago plant in Montevideo. The company is a joint venture between Cementos Molins of Spain and Votorantim Cimentos of Brazil, combining European engineering traditions with Latin American scale. The portfolio covers Portland cement (CPC40, CPN50 ARI), masonry cement (ARTICOR), mortars, tile adhesives (PERFECTO line) and ready-mix concrete under the Hormigones Artigas brand, supplying contractors, ready-mix plants, precast factories, and retailers across Uruguay plus export markets in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and the Falkland Islands.
