Noel Alimentaria S.A. is one of the oldest food companies in Argentine history, founded in 1847 by Basque immigrant Carlos Noel Echave. Originally established as Fabrica de Dulces El Sol in Buenos Aires, the company pioneered the confectionery industry in Argentina, producing chocolates, caramels, preserves, quince paste, and sweet potato paste. After nearly 150 years of family ownership, the brand was acquired by Grupo Arcor in 1994 and continues to operate as a recognized name in the Argentine jams and preserves market. Noel products are manufactured at industrial facilities in Villa Mercedes, San Luis, under strict quality standards.
