Laur Olivicola Vitivinicola S.R.L. is the number one ranked olive oil company in the world according to the EVOO World Ranking, a position held for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. Founded in 1889 by French immigrant Francisco Laur in Cruz de Piedra, Maipu, Mendoza, the company was acquired by the Millan family in 2010 and has since received over 624 international awards. Laur operates centenary olive groves and a modern continuous centrifugal extraction mill, producing extra virgin olive oils from the native Arauco varietal and Arbequina. The portfolio spans ultra premium Gran Laur, premium Gran Mendoza, the terroir line (Medrano, Cruz de Piedra, Altos Limpios), the classic Laur Virgen Extra, and an organic range. The company exports to the United States, China, Japan, Europe and Latin America through Laur USA and other appointed distributors, and operates a tourism program at its Maipu estate welcoming up to 250 visitors per day.
