Founded in 1968 in Torreon, Coahuila, the company operates five store formats: Soriana Hiper (full-service hypermarkets), Soriana Super (mid-size supermarkets), Soriana Mercado (market-format stores), City Club (paid-membership warehouse clubs), and Soriana Express (convenience stores). The company is publicly listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV: SORIANAB) and employs over 80,000 people. Soriana manages a portfolio of 18 private label brands spanning groceries, personal care, household cleaning, baby products, and pet supplies, with over 2,000 proprietary SKUs. Annual revenue exceeds MXN 190 billion. The company also operates a wind energy farm in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, supplying 81% clean energy to its nationwide store network.
