Aceitera Barbieri is a family-owned company founded in 2006 in the city of Cordoba, Argentina. Specializing in the production, packaging, and distribution of edible sunflower, olive, and blended oils, the company operates with full vertical integration: from growing its own sunflowers to distributing the finished product. With a packaging plant in the Los Gigantes neighborhood of Cordoba Capital and a production plant opened in 2018 in Argentina's prime sunflower-growing region, Barbieri controls every stage of the production process to ensure oil quality.

High quality oil, clean flavor
We use this for our restaurant supply chain in Brazil. The oil has a clean, neutral flavor with a high smoke point. Very good for deep frying. The 10 L format is the right size for our HORECA clients.
Good oil but handle design could improve
The oil quality is consistent and the price is competitive for Argentine sunflower oil. The only issue is that the bidon handle is a bit thin, making it awkward to pour when full. We transfer to smaller containers at our warehouse.
Best value bulk sunflower oil from Argentina
We compared Barbieri against three other Argentine sunflower oil producers. Barbieri offers the best volume pricing and the quality is on par with the bigger names. The fact that they control the full supply chain from field to bottle gives us confidence in consistency.
