Perfect product for our Latin specialty stores

We distribute Alpina Bon Yurt to Colombian community stores across three states. The product arrives in excellent condition with proper cold chain documentation. The cereal stays crunchy in the separate compartment, which is the key selling point. Our customers are very loyal to this product and will not accept substitutes. Alpina team is responsive and provides INVIMA documentation promptly. Only downside is the price premium for cold chain logistics, but the margin on this product justifies it.

Good product, cold chain requires vigilance

Purchased 200 six-packs for a hotel chain client. Product quality is consistent with what we expected from Alpina. The dual-compartment design is clever and consumers appreciate it. One delivery had temperature excursion during ground transport from port to warehouse (logger showed 11 degrees Celsius for 4 hours). Those packs had shortened shelf life of 18 days instead of 30. We now require temperature-controlled last-mile delivery, adding cost. The yogurt flavor and texture are consistently good across batches.

Decent for camp stores but logistics are complex

Ordered for our construction camp commissary. Workers enjoy the product as a snack option. The 30-day shelf life is workable for our camp rotation schedule. Two challenges: first, maintaining 2 to 6 degree cold chain at remote altitude sites (above 3,000 m) where refrigeration capacity is limited. Second, the cereal compartment lid on about 5% of cups was not properly sealed, causing the cereal to absorb moisture and lose crunch before opening. Not a food safety issue but affects the experience. Price per serving is higher than local yogurt alternatives.
