Description

The Gerdau CA-50 rebar is a hot-rolled reinforcing steel bar manufactured to ABNT NBR 7480 standards with a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa and tensile strength of 540 MPa. The 10 mm diameter bar is 12 m long and features a ribbed surface pattern for mechanical bonding with concrete. CA-50 is the most widely specified rebar grade in Brazil for structural concrete, suitable for beams, columns, slabs, foundations, and retaining walls. Gerdau produces this rebar from recycled steel scrap in electric arc furnaces, achieving over 70% recycled content. Each bar carries the Gerdau marking rolled into the surface for traceability. Compliant with NBR 7480:2007 and equivalent to ASTM A615 Grade 60.
