Essen Cacerola dutch oven in 24cm diameter with matching lid. Manufactured by Essen Aluminio S.A. in Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. The body is gravity-cast aluminum (4mm wall thickness) providing even heat distribution and retention comparable to cast iron at significantly lower weight. Interior finished with two-layer ceramic non-stick coating (PFOA-free, PTFE-free) that withstands metal utensils under normal use. Exterior coated with high-temperature silicone paint. Ergonomic side handles with silicone grips stay cool on the stovetop. The self-basting lid design returns moisture to food during slow cooking. Compatible with gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops (not induction). Oven-safe to 250C. Dishwasher-safe but hand washing recommended to preserve coating longevity. Capacity: 4.5 liters.
