Bearing compatible with variable frequency drive
We use motors with variable frequency drives (VFD). Is the 6205-2RSH suitable or do we need the electrically insulated version?
For motors up to 100 kW with VFD, the standard 6205-2RSH is adequate at the drive end (DE) position. At the non-drive end (NDE) position of motors larger than 15 kW with VFD, SKF recommends the INSOCOAT version (6205-2RSH/C3 with ceramic coating) to prevent stray currents. We have both versions in stock. We can advise based on your specific application.
