What are the noise levels during operation?
We are installing this compressor in a workshop adjacent to office space. What is the noise level in dB at 1 meter? Do we need to build a sound enclosure or is it quiet enough for indoor use?
We have this exact model in our shop. The 72 dB spec is accurate at full load but it idles much quieter around 62 dB. With a simple drywall partition between the compressor room and office, the noise is not noticeable. Anti-vibration mounts (included) also help reduce transmitted noise through the floor.
