Conaprole is Uruguay's largest dairy cooperative and one of Latin America's most significant dairy industries. Founded by national law in 1936, it brings together over 1,800 dairy farmers who supply raw milk for a comprehensive range of dairy products. Operating industrial plants across Uruguay, the cooperative processes more than 1.5 billion liters of milk annually, exporting approximately half of its production to international markets across five continents.

Top-selling dulce de leche in our catalog
We import Conaprole dulce de leche for distribution across southern Brazil where it competes directly with local brands. The flavor profile is distinctly Uruguayan, richer and less sweet than Brazilian doce de leite. Customers specifically request the Conaprole brand. Shelf life is generous and packaging arrives intact even after long truck routes from Montevideo.
Reliable product for our hospitality clients
We supply Conaprole dulce de leche to hotels and resorts in the Caribbean. The product quality is consistent batch to batch, which is critical for our clients kitchen operations. Packaging could be slightly more robust for maritime shipping, but overall a solid import product.
Good quality but expensive for bulk cafeteria use
We purchased for our construction site cafeterias in Peru. The dulce de leche is excellent quality and workers enjoyed it. However, for the volumes we need (50+ kg per week across multiple sites), the landed cost makes it hard to justify over local Peruvian brands. Better suited for premium retail or hospitality than industrial cafeteria supply.
Consistent quality for our pizza chain
We have been importing Conaprole mozzarella for our chain of 40 pizzerias in Sao Paulo. The melt and stretch are consistent batch after batch. Cold chain was maintained perfectly on all shipments. Switching from our previous Italian supplier saved us 30% on cheese costs with comparable quality.
Good product, shipping docs could improve
The mozzarella itself is solid, good flavor and texture for industrial use. Our food manufacturing clients are satisfied with the performance in frozen pizza production. Deducting one star because the first shipment had incomplete FDA documentation which caused a 5-day customs delay. Subsequent orders were handled correctly.
Decent but blocks smaller than listed
We ordered for our company cafeteria chain in Colombia. The cheese quality is acceptable and pricing is competitive. However, the blocks consistently weigh 4.7-4.8kg rather than the listed 5kg. The vacuum seal on two blocks in our last case was compromised during transit. Communication from the seller was responsive when we reported the issue.
