Aguila Submarino is a 14 g semi-sweet chocolate stick produced in Argentina by Mondelez Argentina under the Aguila masterbrand, historically the oldest chocolate label in the country (est. 1880). Each individually wrapped bar is sized and formulated to be dropped whole into a mug of hot milk, where it dissolves within minutes to yield the Submarino, a cornerstone of Argentine cafe culture served in confiterias and homes every winter. The recipe is a semi-sweet (semi-amargo) chocolate aromatized with vanillin and ethyl vanillin, gluten-free, and produced in a sin-TACC facility. The pink and gold wrapper with the Aguila eagle crest is instantly recognizable across Argentina. Each bar carries 66 calories.
